A qualified parachutist, Harvey served with British Army Intelligence for over ten years. His experience ranges from covert surveillance in Northern Ireland to operating in Communist East Berlin during the cold war, where he feared for his life after being dragged from his car and attacked by Russian KGB soldiers. Harvey writes Cold War, Military and Apocalyptic Fiction.
Walter Harris was born in London, in 1925, in the middle of the Jazz Age. He joined the RAF directly from Haileybury. After serving in the RAF; he emigrated to Brazil, worked for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and the BBC, creating the archival record, THEATRE 60 which included Harris’ interviews with Noel Coward, Albert Finney, Harold Pinter, Peter Hall, Kenneth Tynan and others. When Bob Guccione founded Penthouse, Harris became the new magazine’s motoring correspondent as well as contributing short stories and articles. Harris has ten published books, sound recordings – recently Dispute In A Bubble Factory, a collection of children’s poetry written and narrated by Walter Harris, and set to music composed and played by Pepper. At the age of 90, Harris is about to publish two more books and recently acquired a new job as a voice over artist.
Angela Jane Swinn is a fine artist working in multi-media processes. She is a science graduate (Leeds University) and fine art graduate (Central Saint Martins). She is fascinated by natural history, childhood and play and the juxtaposition of the natural and man-made world. Her recent work has focussed on painting and book cover art.
